Francois values a client centred approach and works collaboratively with his clients to make positive changes. He has extensive experience working with adults, teens and families, especially with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Francois Jaume is a student therapist entering the final stage of his master’s in counselling psychology. He completed his undergraduate degree at Tyndale University where he obtained a major in psychology and a minor in biblical studies. He takes a biopsychosocial approach to counselling and believes that many of life’s experiences are interconnected to how a person feels in the present.
Francois has over eight years of experience working in the clinical setting with families and individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and other disabilities. Francois has supported individuals with ASD in community, residential and educational centers. He has also worked with individuals of different developmental stages, including children, youth, and adults.
Francois values a client-centred approach and works collaboratively with his clients to find a therapeutic approach that will create effective, positive change.
