Georgia is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In her work, she prioritizes building a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust, respect, and collaboration. She believes clients are the experts to their lives, and with support and guidance from a therapist one can gain a deeper understanding and develop effective coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges.
As a therapist, Georgia takes an integrative approach, drawing from Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities. Sessions will be tailored to meet her clients unique needs and goals, blending empathetic listening, insight-oriented exploration, and practical skills-building techniques.
Whether you’re facing difficulties with life transitions, struggling with anxiety, stress or depression, or seeking personal growth and fulfillment, Georgia is here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, she hopes to uncover your strengths, unearth new perspectives, cultivate resilience and provide coping mechanisms to help you live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Training & Experience
Georgia is a student therapist completing her Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Yorkville University. She began her educational journey at the University of Guelph in which she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business.
Georgia has experience working in different settings, including co-facilitating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group therapy sessions at a mental health agency and providing youth support services including mentorship, crisis intervention, life skill development, community outreach and advocacy. She is hopeful and enthusiastic about expanding her skills as a psychotherapist as she sees clients on an individual basis.
