Issues We Treat

All Issues We Treat

The reasons people come to therapy do not always fit neatly into a single category. Life is complicated, and so is the inner experience of living it. Whether you are navigating something specific or simply carrying a sense that something needs to change, our therapists have the training and experience to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I am not sure what I need or what is wrong?
That is one of the most common ways people arrive at therapy. You do not need to have your situation diagnosed or categorised before you reach out. Our Client Care Manager Susan will listen carefully and help you find the right fit — starting from wherever you are.
What if my concern is not listed on your website?
Please contact us. Our website cannot list every clinical presentation our therapists work with. If you have a concern — however specific, complicated, or hard to name — please reach out and we will be honest with you about whether we can help and who the right person might be.
Do you offer assessments or diagnoses?
Our therapists are registered psychotherapists and social workers — not psychologists or psychiatrists. We do not conduct formal psychological assessments or provide psychiatric diagnoses. If you require a formal assessment, we can advise on appropriate referrals while also providing therapeutic support.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
Please ask when you contact us. Some of our therapists have limited availability at reduced fees. We want therapy to be accessible and will do what we can within the constraints of a small practice.
Can therapy be covered by insurance?
Many extended health benefits plans cover services from Registered Psychotherapists (RP) or Registered Social Workers (RSW) — which is the registration held by all of our therapists. We recommend checking your specific policy. We can provide receipts for all sessions.
How do I get started?
Call us at (289) 500-8039 (Newmarket) or (289) 272-0200 (Aurora), or book a free intake call online. Susan will listen to your situation, answer your questions, and personally match you with the right therapist. No commitment required.

Not Sure Where to Start?

That is exactly what Susan is here for. One call, no commitment — she will listen and help you find the right next step.
