Alexia is a goal orientated therapist working with a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She is committed to bringing out in her clients the best version of themselves.
Alexia is a student therapist completing her Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy through Yorkville University. As a therapist, Alexia believes in diving into our inner strengths, paired with learned skills to support the client in working through issues related to low self-esteem, grief, depression, anxiety and problem-solving.
Alexia further draws elements from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness-based therapies as well as received certification in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She believes in working with the client in a supportive environment to set goals collaboratively and work towards them by utilizing evidence-based techniques.
Alexia is further committed to helping clients develop an evolved version of how they envision their lives and working with them to achieve this.
