About Georgia

Georgia Paterson is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Newmarket Therapy Centre and Aurora Village Therapy & Wellness Centre, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She offers a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy — creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.

Georgia works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and personal growth. She believes deeply that clients are the experts of their own lives, and that with the right support and guidance, each person can develop a clearer understanding of themselves and the practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and confidence.

"I believe clients are the experts of their own lives. My role is to walk alongside you — with empathy, curiosity, and the best of evidence-based practice — as you uncover your strengths and build the life you envision."
