Training & Experience
Radhika has a heart of warmth and compassion and is dedicated to walking alongside people in various capacities of life. Her working experience and master’s in clinical counselling stems from a desire to help people find clarity and awareness of situations they are in, by giving them a nudge of encouragement and leading them to a clearer path of recovery and healing. Her calm and empathetic demeanour leads the way to building and inspiring hope in the lives of people.
Her focus is on building a rapport with clients she meets with the skills of a good listener. Radhika takes a realistic approach to counseling by empowering and finding strengths in people to help them through the process of recovery. She believes in the importance of working through thoughts and feelings to deal with situations at hand and encourages people to go deeper into the exploration of past experiences as necessary. The analytical nature she brings into therapy helps explore and understand feelings and experiences, setting a clear path to taking steps towards goals set to be achieved.
Healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment, and it is important to Radhika that she works cooperatively with clients in clarifying their goals for treatment. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, her approach is to draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation.
Radhika enjoys time with her family and friends. She is married with two children and they enjoy family time watching sports and going out to eat. In her spare time, she volunteers with a charity working towards the awareness and protection of children.
